Why Ceramic
Coatings Work.

A ceramic coating bonds to your paint at a chemical level. It forms a semi-permanent layer that outperforms anything from a spray bottle or a wax. Water sheets off. The sun does less damage. The paint looks better than it did before the coating went on.

It also makes the car dramatically easier to maintain. Dirt and contamination don't stick the same way. Washes take less time. The paint just stays cleaner.

One thing to know: a ceramic coating shows exactly what's underneath it. Put it on paint with swirls and haze, it amplifies the haze. Put it on corrected paint, it amplifies depth, gloss, and clarity. The order matters a lot.

Comes First.

This isn't just a preference. It's the logical sequence. A ceramic coating is semi-permanent. Removing it later to correct the paint underneath is a much bigger job than doing the correction before the coating goes on.

Common Questions.

How long does ceramic coating last? +
Depends on the product, how well the paint was prepped, and how the vehicle gets maintained after. Professional coatings on properly corrected, decontaminated paint typically last several years. Vegas heat will accelerate wear on anything applied over poor prep. Which is another reason the prep matters so much.
Is ceramic coating scratch-proof? +
No. Ceramic coatings add hardness and some scratch resistance, but they are not scratch-proof. They handle fine swirls and light abrasions better than bare paint. A key scratch or a rock chip will still get through.
Do I still need to wash my car? +
Yes. A ceramic coating makes washing easier and less frequent but it doesn't mean the car never needs to be washed. Regular washes with pH-neutral soap keep the coating performing well. Skipping maintenance will shorten its lifespan.
How long does installation take? +
Plan for two to three days minimum for the full process done correctly. That includes correction if needed, coating application, and cure time. We don't rush the cure. The car stays in the shop in a controlled environment until it's actually ready.
